Men’s Health checks involve the prevention and early detection of common medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart and vascular disease, diabetes and cancers. Special emphasis is also placed on prostate problems, erectile dysfunction, smoking addiction and mental health issues. Our Doctors are sensitive to the difficulty some men have in discussing these issues.

Skin Cancer
We recommend regular skin cancer checks, particularly if you spend a lot of time in the sun for work or recreation.
Melanomas, basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas can be cured if they are discovered and treated early.

Diabetes Assessment
We provide Type 2 Diabetes Assessments to patients who feel they may be at risk.
If you would like to ascertain your risk of Type 2 Diabetes we recommend you have a diabetes evaluation at our practice. The evaluations, known as an Annual Diabetic Cycle of Care Plan and a Six Monthly Review of Care Plan, will take place with the assistance of our nurse and will be finalised with a standard doctor’s consultation.
